About the event

WELCOME STRANGER

Join us in Brighton’s iconic Royal Pavilion for a special evening celebrating the music and story of A Tale of Fellowship.

The evening will feature performances from some of the West End’s finest, including Tom Hier (Miss Saigon, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) and Samantha Thomas (WICKED, Les Misérables).

A Tale of Fellowship is a true story about four young creatives who dream of combining their artistic talents to bring positive change to the world. The musical has been in development for over 10 years — a true labour of love from composer and creator Joseph Purdue.

Joseph first began writing the musical after discovering a letter written to J.R.R. Tolkien by his close friend G.B. Smith in one of Tolkien’s biographies. Deeply moved by its message, he was inspired to tell a story of friendship, creativity, and the enduring power of art.
